It’s cozy, deeply vintage atmosphere makes guests easily relish distinct and signature delicacies of this restaurant, and get overwhelmed with the fine dining of Quang Nam, or fascinated with dessert cakes in European style, all of which are valuable feelings in guests to heap upon generous praises for “Bếp Nhà Cô Ba Xứ Quảng (“cô Ba” of Quang Nam Home Kitchen).
More surprisingly, “cô Ba” of Quang Nam – Mrs. Doan Thi Thu Thuy, who is currently a thriving businesswoman, a CEO, always devotes herself to family apartment. Perhaps because of her deep rooted Quang Nam identity in which women were taught to keep the stove ablaze, Mrs. Thuy through thick and thin eventually cherished her cuisine and became “cô Ba” of Quang Nam who rejoiced in cooking.
” For me, the path to happiness must cross my family kitchen”, said Mrs. Thuy.
In 2014, Mrs. Thuy joined the Master Chef Vietnam 2014. Foods of an outsider of gastronomy were honored and she reaped lots of love after rounding up the Top 3. Her fortune flourished and in 2015 Mrs. Thuy launched a cook book “Ms. Ba and the journey of Vietnamese foods” that presented 63 signature dishes across all national regions.
She confided: “I’m a woman of work and also deeply ingrained with family kitchen…I traveled to many regions and tasted numerous dishes across provinces and it dawned on me that Vietnamese foods are so unique and enchanting, as each region boasted their own use of spices to yield fascinatingly distinct tastes. I wish to proclaim Vietnamese foods and memorize them with the fondness that deeply touches your hearts”.
